ABOUT

I am a Core Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Columbia University. My research focuses on the social and political thought of the group of philosophers known as the French Nietzscheans, especially Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, and Georges Bataille. My current project aims to reconstruct the conceptions of systemic power and historical transformation that these philosophers elaborate through their creative interpretations of Nietzsche’s thought, especially his understanding of contingency, the will to power, and the subject. I also have interests in the philosophy of art and political theology.
